Enjoy the adventure visiting this fabulous place, with the perfect combination of archaeology, history and traditions from a great culture and being in contact with nature in these wonderful places.
Our tour includes a visit to Cusco City, the Sacred Valley of the Incas and Machu Picchu.
Itinerary
1st Day : Airport to the Sacred Valley of the Incas / Hotel. When you arrive at Cusco Airport your guide will be waiting for you and will take you straight to the Sacred Valley area as we consider this to be the best way to avoid high altitude sickness.
The valley is a tranquil area rich in cultural, historical, and agricultural diversity just 45 minutes from Cusco and a few thousand feet lower in elevation. You will make a short stop at the Living Weaving Museum of Awanakancha, where you can find weavers, Incan agricultural terraces, and the South American camelids, such as the Vicuña, Guanaco, Llama, and Alpaca.
2nd Day : Excursion to the Sacred Valley of the Incas /One Night in the Sacred Valley. Breakfast in the Hotel
Start early to visit the Sacred Valley of the Incas. During the journey we can appreciate characteristic towns, varied landscapes and a typical market in Chinchero where we will also visit the archaeological area and have lunch in a restaurant or a picnic en route to the “Vilcanota River”. Later on in the afternoon we continue the journey towards Ollantaytambo, a colonial town, built on the foundations and the layout of an Inca city, and then, the archaeological area with the same name.

3rd Day : Aguas Calientes town / one night in Aguas Calientes
Wake up early in order to board the train for Aguas Calientes (approximately 1.30 hours) where we will catch the bus that takes us to the Machupiccu Historical Sanctuary. This morning we will have a guided tour of this impressive Inca City, where we can appreciate the magnificent social organization, the urban lines and the incomparable architecture of the Inca state. Lunch and free time to explore Machpicchu on your own. Return to Hotel.
4th Day : Machupiccu / Cusco. In the early morning we will be guided to Inti Punku, the Sun gate, from where we will appreciate the Inca City of Machupicchu in all its glory. After a final exploration of the citadel we return to Aguas Calientes to continue with a short trek to the Mandor Waterfalls where we can admire the flora and fauna as well as the magnificent waterfalls and be in contact with the nature of this sub tropical area. Lunch / Picnic Lunch. Return to Cusco /transfer train station/Hotel.
5th Day : City Tour. Breakfast in the Hotel. We will start around 9.00 am with the Cusco city tour. This includes the Cathedral, the Temple of the Sun or Qoricancha and the Saqsaywaman Archaeological National Park where we will appreciate four of the archaeological and most representative centres of the park: Saqsaywaman, Quenqo, Pucapucara and Tambomachay. Free afternoon.
6th Day : Cusco. Breakfast in the Hotel. Transfer to the airport
